About SERA

Our story, our values, and our way of creating surfaces that belong.

About SERA

Handcrafted surfaces shaped by tradition, nature and the human hand.

SERA is a Spanish brand of handcrafted interior surfaces, created to bring warmth, depth and individuality to contemporary spaces. Our collections bring together zellige, bejmat, cement tile, terracotta and terrazzo — materials shaped by natural elements, fire and time. Subtle variations in colour, texture and form give each surface its own character, bringing depth and individuality to the spaces it inhabits

Our story

SERA was born from a love of materials that carry the memory of place and reveal the process of their making.

For centuries, ceramics, stone and decorative surfaces have shaped the architecture of the Mediterranean — from Southern Europe to North Africa. Colour, texture, light and craftsmanship form part of a shared material language that continues to inspire contemporary interiors.

Drawing on living craft traditions, SERA brings together materials with history and presents them in a clear, contemporary context. Our purpose is not to recreate the past, but to
preserve the character of traditional craftsmanship and give it a natural place in the spaces of today

Made by Hand. Made for the Space.

Our surfaces are formed, coloured, glazed, fired and finished using techniques refined over generations. Natural materials and the hand of the artisan create subtle variations from one piece to another — not defects, but visible traces of how each surface was made.

Like an original work of art, a handcrafted surface reveals new tones, details and depth over time. Its character cannot be fully reproduced by something perfectly uniform.

It does not need to cover an entire interior. A single accent — a kitchen backsplash, bathroom wall, fireplace, niche or restaurant counter — can become a focal point, adding depth and giving the space a distinctive atmosphere.

We choose materials for their character, not their consistency.

A Considered Collection

SERA creates cohesive collections of colours, textures and forms, selected for their origin, visual depth and tactile character.

Based in Spain, we work with architects, designers and private clients across Europe, offering samples and personal guidance.

A meaningful interior often begins with a single material — its colour, texture and the way it changes in the light.
