Samples Policy

1. Purpose of samples

Samples help customers assess the general colour family, finish, texture, glaze and material character before placing a main order.

2. Samples are indicative

Samples are provided to show the general colour family, texture, glaze and character of the material. They do not reserve, represent or guarantee the exact shade, batch, size, thickness, surface or finish of a future order.

Actual orders may vary from samples due to handmade production, natural variation, batch differences, lighting, screen settings and installation conditions.

3. Returns of samples

Purchased samples are non-returnable, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise or where the sample is defective or incorrect.

SERA may offer a discount or credit for the cost of samples when the customer places a subsequent main order, if stated on the website or agreed in writing.

4. Sample availability

Samples may be limited by material, colour, batch or stock. SERA may substitute, delay or cancel a sample request if the requested material is unavailable.

5. No batch reservation

Ordering a sample does not reserve a production batch or guarantee that a future order will match the sample exactly.

6. Professional advice

For project orders, customers are encouraged to request advice before ordering and to confirm suitability, quantity, lead time and installation requirements.
