CRAFTED TERRAZZO

Material shaped by composition

SERA Terrazzo is made from a mineral base combined with carefully selected stone and decorative aggregates. Once finished, the surface reveals its composition through variations in fragment size, colour and distribution.

Rather than creating a perfectly repeated pattern, terrazzo is defined by the relationship between its base tone and the material embedded within it. Fine graniglia, crystalline fragments, bold Palladiana pieces and graphic compositions each create a different visual rhythm.

Sage Arc is part of SERA Forma: Graphic terrazzo with large-scale curved pattern. Base colour direction: Sage.

The scale, density and movement of the fragments give every design its own architectural character, from quiet and finely textured to bold and expressive.

COMPOSITION, NOT REPETITION

A surface defined by fragments

Terrazzo is valued for the depth created by its mineral composition. Variations in aggregate size, placement, tone and density are inherent to the material and form part of its visual character.

No two areas of a terrazzo surface will appear completely identical. Individual fragments may vary in shape and distribution, while subtle differences in the mineral base can become more visible across larger installations.

These variations create continuity without mechanical repetition, allowing the finished surface to feel natural, layered and integrated into the architecture.

With use and time, the material develops a softer, more settled appearance while retaining the character of its original composition.

Before You Order

Terrazzo is a composed mineral material and should not be expected to appear completely uniform.

Aggregate placement and density vary naturally from tile to tile. For this reason, we recommend viewing several tiles together before installation and distributing them across the surface to achieve a balanced composition.

Order the full quantity required for the project at the same time whenever possible.

We recommend allowing additional material for cutting, selection and future repairs.

Installation Guide

Professional installation is recommended.

Tiles should be installed on a stable, level substrate using materials suitable for terrazzo.

The surface should be protected during installation and construction.

Depending on the application and finish, sealing may be required. Always follow the current SERA installation and care recommendations.

Use pH-neutral cleaning products. Avoid aggressive acidic or highly alkaline cleaners.
